HURLEY: Hugo Reyes. I crashed here on Oceanic Flight 815. A bunch of us survived. Is that why you’re here? Were you looking for us?

PARACHUTIST: 815? Flight 815? The one from Sydney?

HURLEY: Yeah!

PARACHUTIST: No, that’s not possible.

HURLEY: Yeah, I know. It wasn’t easy, but we found food, and a hatch…

PARACHUTIST: No. No, Flight 815 they, they found the plane. There were no survivors. They were all dead.

HURLEY: What?!

Mikhail, el ruso del parche al que Locke arrojó contra la valla sónica y al que dábamos por muerto, está vivito y coleando. Se cruza en la selva con Desmond, Hurley, Charlie y Jin y les ayuda a salvar la vida a la misteriosa recién llegada. Lo de decir que no hubo supervivientes, por cierto, serviría de abono para quienes defendieron al final de la serie que estaban todos muertos desde el principio. Y repetimos una vez más: no estaban todos muertos desde el principio, dejad de dar la lata con eso.
